Les éditions Subterranean Press ont annoncé qu'elles publieraient une anthologie intitulée Miniatures: The Very Short Fiction of John Scalzi, réunissant les "plus courtes et meilleures" fictions de John Scalzi (Les Enfermés, Deus in machina).

 

L'ouvrage devrait comporter 18 textes écrits entre 1991 et 2016, dont 4 inédits, et est prévu pour début 2017.

Spanning the years from 1991 to 2016, this collection is a quarter century of Scalzi at his briefest and best, and features four never-before-printed stories, exclusive to this collection: “Morning Announcements at the Lucas Interspecies School for Troubled Youth,” “Your Smart Appliances Talk About You Behind Your Back,” “Important Holidays on Gronghu” and “The AI Are Absolutely Positively Without a Doubt Not Here to End Humanity, Honest.”"

 

L'ouvrage est en cours d'illustration, il comportera une jaquette mais également des illustrations de Natalie Metzger pour chaque nouvelle.
