Ray Bradbury a remporté le prix Pultizer de la fiction dans la catégorie "citation spéciale" pour "his distinguished, prolific and deeply influential career as an unmatched author of science fiction and fantasy."

Cormac McCarthy's a eu lui le grand prix pour son roman post-apocalyptique : The Road.
