James Morrow vient d'évoquer son nouveau roman : The Last Witchfinder.
"Writing of the demon-drenched world view that superseded the medieval era, Harrison wrote, 'The supposed Renaissance was a disordered interlude between sane universes, ... a witch universe created by leaders with fear-crazed minds, ... which would have destroyed European society but for the intervention of science,'" Morrow said in an interview. "And I said to myself, 'The near destruction of a civilization at the hands of its own theology! If that's not a great subject for a novel, then bears have indoor plumbing!'"
