Le tome 2 des Mensonges de Locke Lamora sort demain aux Etats Unis (le tome 1 est chez Bragelonne chez nous). Il s'appelle Red Seas Under Red Skies.

Et cette fois Locke et ses amis vont devenir pirates. Voici le synopsis :

Scott Lynch est en interview dans Khimaire. Une interview essentiellement centrée sur les Salauds Gentilhommes, sont cycle dont Bragelonne a édité le premier tome.

Il écrit actuellement le deuxième volume. Il confirme qu'il y en aura 7 au total. Côté histoire, il justifie la relative violence de son cycle :

"C'est bien plus important de convaincre le lecteur que des choses horribles peuvent arriver à chacun et qu'aucun personnage (ou presque) n'est intouchable. Mon travail d'auteur est de créer de l'émotion et j'essaie de les varier au maximum. Ces romans sont remplis de souvenirs, d'actions sanglantes et de retournements de situation. Le contraire reviendrait à écrire un roman ennuyeux et sans intérêt".
