Voici ce qu'il écrit sur sa page d'accueil :
Welcome to My Insane Little Life Project!
Salvete, omnes! Welcome to the Project which will undoubtedly take up a good chunk of my life. After taking two years worth of Latin courses at York University in Toronto, and forever remaining the perpetual Humanities student, I decided to translate the Lord of the Rings by Tolkien into Latin. Being a big fan of the Professor's work, I thought it would be a good idea to translate a work that had no official Latin translation so I could become more fluent in Latin and appreciate the language more. A website,
http://www.eldalie.ch/~earendilyon/ , was started by someone else and the guy worked on his translation for a good three years before it mysteriously stopped. He isn't responding to any emails I've sent him. So, I borrowed some of the names from his word list, I am currently making my own glossary as I go along, and began to translate the Professor's most famous work anew! My friend Davida Secunda offers criticism of my translation, and any criticism from fellow Latinists is very welcome! Comments are appreciated as well! I hope you enjoy the project down the years as I slowly work towards it's completion!
