Naomi Novik (La série Téméraire au Pré aux Clercs) vient de signer un nouveau tome de cette série : Empire of Ivory. Un tome pour lequel elle a pas mal voyagé en Afrique.

elle y va de son explication :
"It was very important to me to depict the African landscape realistically and to have kind of sense of what it's really like, as opposed to the classic savannah desert that you always see," Novik said in an interview. "I wanted to see several different locations and climates and also, of course, get some sense of the colonial history in South Africa to try and make that depiction accurate."
