Fantasy Centre?
Fantasy Centre to close down...
Wednesday, 08 April 2009 10:57 Martin Roberts Ted and Erik at the Fantasy Centre in London have important news for all their friends and customers: they have decided that when their lease expires in June 2009 they won't renew it and Fantasy Centre will close after nearly forty years of trading.
They thank everyone for all their support over the years, saying "no doubt this is sort of inevitable news but we have resisted for some time".
The latest Fantasy Centre catalogue (dated Apr 2009) is now available. Their last catalogue, which will include all the shop's reference books and lots of bargains, will be out in early May 2009. Email or call to receive this. Snail-mail customers receive the catalogue some ten days before the unsold fiction items are added to their website and on to abebooks.com.
The Shop will be open as usual (10am-6pm) on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, then closed on Easter Sunday and Monday, and open again on Tuesday April 14th.
