Le vétéran Ben Bova (75 ans) vient de conclure une tétralogie nommée : Asteroid Wars series. Le dernier tome qui est paru en Août s'appelle : The Aftermath.

La série parle de la découverte d'un astéroïde contenant d'énormes ressources naturelles et attisant par le fait la cupidité humaine... Asteroid Wars series est une série dérivée de celle du Grand Tour dans laquelle il explore pas mal de planètes.

Je ne sais pas si un éditeur français est dessus.


It grew out of the previous three novels: The Precipice, The Rock Rats and The Silent War," Bova said in an interview. "The Asteroid Wars series was born when I realized that the immense wealth of natural resources in the asteroid belt will be an enormous temptation for greedy, power-hungry men who are willing to kill to get what they want."

As the title suggests, The Aftermath deals with events that happen at the end of the Asteroid Wars, Bova said. "The Zacharias family are prospectors in the asteroid belt, [and] their ship is attacked and disabled by the warship that has just destroyed the rock rats' habitat at the asteroid Ceres, killing more than a thousand men, women and children," he said. "The father, Victor Zacharias, leaves the ship in an escape pod to draw away the attacker."
