Nous vous présentons ici les gagnants :

Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Long Form)

  • The Sinister Secret of StarNasty or A Mike in the Mechanics, Michael McQuilkin & Richard Wentworth (Hadron Gospel Hour)

Hadron Gospel Hour is a sci-fi comedy/adventure audio sitcom and sketch show created by Richard Wentworth and Michael McQuilkin. Written and produced in a “single camera audiocomedy” style, Hadron Gospel Hour is at turns deadpan and absurd. Dr. “Oppenheimer” Valdini (Wentworth) has torn a rift in the fabric of the multiverse, and is trapped outside of spacetime in his sentient lab A.S.H. LE (Lisa McQuilkin), with maintenance man Cyrus (Michael Atkinson). Desperate for help and companionship, Oppenheimer kidnaps Mike Wilkinson (Michael McQuilkin), IT guy by day and indie filmmaker by night. Together, Oppenheimer and Mike travel to mysterious and exotic timelines in their quest to repair the Hadron Rift and restore order to the multiverse. Oh, and to produce a podcast.

Best Speculative Fiction Audio Drama (Short Form)

  •  Aaron’s World, Mike Meraz (parent) and Aaron Meraz (child)

Aaron's World is a fun and imaginative science podcast for kids. If you like adventures with dinosaurs, time travel, robots, and plenty of SCIENCE... then this podcast is for YOU!

Aaron's World is also a 50-episode audio-drama following the time-traveling adventures of a little boy and his trusty computer companion (INO) as they explore the prehistoric world. Episodes are self-contained and focus on a single prehistoric creature or science topic. A larger story arc ties the episodes together, leading listeners to an exciting finale which teaches a valuable lesson about science.

  •     The Black, Paul E. Cooley

Under 30,000 feet of water, the exploration rig Leaguer has discovered an oil field larger than Saudi Arabia, with oil so sweet and pure, nations would go to war for the rights to it. But as the team starts drilling exploration well after exploration well in their race to claim the sweet crude, a deep rumbling beneath the ocean floor shakes them all to their core. Something has been living in the oil and it’s about to give birth to the greatest threat humanity has ever seen.

The Black is a techno/horror-thriller that puts the horror and action of movies such as Leviathan and The Thing right into readers’ hands. Ocean exploration will never be the same.
